Obituary

Meldora M “Dolly”(Russell) Ronco, 88, of Belleview, Florida died on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Ocala Regional Hospital in Ocala, FL after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence E Ronco, Sr. They spent 67 wonderful years together enjoying their residences in Maine, Massachusetts and Florida. Born in Millinocket, Maine on May 11, 1927, she was oldest girl born to Herman and Arlene (Harriman) Russell. Named after her two grandmothers, who were midwives, Susan Meldora Gee and Martha Lucinda Frost.

Dolly worked many years at the Foxboro Company but was best known for Foxvale Community Mother’s Club and den mother for cub scouts. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. She was always caring, grateful and unselfish; providing comfort of home and food to many friends and family alike. Her ” little piece of paradise” was the family cottage on South Twin Lake in Maine. Loving mother of Lawrence Ronco, Jr. of Boston, MA; Jean Warner and her late husband John, of Belleview, FL; Russell Ronco and his companion, Linda Poore of Norton, MA; Judy Warner and her husband, Roger of Attleboro Falls, MA; two grandchildren;  Ethan and Emily Warner, both of North Attleboro, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. Dolly is survived by her sisters, Ina Pinette and Mary Stanton. Predeceased by her siblings; Leonard Russell, Geri Ohle, Gloria Inman, Francis Curtis, Marge Mitchell and Pamela St George. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Tavern from Tower Square Restaurant, Plainville MA Saturday, February 13th; 1-4pm. Burial will be held in the spring at Gray Cemetery Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dolly’s name to the family to give thanks to her previous health care providers.
