On Saturday, December 26, 2020, Madelon Mary Stillabower, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away at age 95 due to Covid-19. She was currently residing in Bradenton, FL.
Madelon was born on September 13, 1925, in Chicago, IL, to Avery and Evelyn Kershner. She raised one son, William A. Suddarth, Jr. of Cape Coral; and two daughters, Deborah Suddarth of Bradenton; and Pamela Riggs of Clearwater.
Madelon lived with her family for many years in Plainfield, IN, before moving to Florida, ten years ago. She enjoyed years of traveling with her late husband, Owen Stillabower, who preceded her in death in 1991. She was a great storyteller and was known for her kind and compassionate spirit.
Madelon is survived by her three children, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. Due to health concerns, the family has chosen to have a memorial service at a later date, when it is safe for everyone to attend. She will be laid to rest, next to her late husband, in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.
