Obituary

Margaret Ann (Gedert) Bushman, 90, of Oak Hill, FL passed peacefully from this earth on Friday, May 27, 2016 at her residence in Oak Hill. She was born July 7, 1925 in Detroit Michigan the eighth of nine siblings. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She continuously showered her family and friends with lots of love, delicious homemade pies, cozy crocheted blankets and her famous scrubbies. She had a profound and inspiring love for helping and caring for everyone around her. Margaret was truly a strong, loving and inspirational woman; it is no surprise that she captured the hearts of so many. She was married to Chester Bushman on May 25, 1946 and joyously celebrated their Platinum 70th Anniversary prior to her passing. She took great pride in the strength of their relationship and their love for each other will continue to encourage those around them. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Chester Bushman and their five children: Chris, Bill, Patty, Joanie and Peggy. Also surviving her are 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends at Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Society, One North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL on Tuesday evening, May 31st from 5 until 7 PM. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1003 Turnbull St. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. Interment will immediately follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens in Edgewater, FL. Arrangements under the care of Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Society, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
