Obituary
Margaret L. Pritchard (97) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024, in Ormond Beach, Florida, surrounded by several of her loved ones. She was born on December 20, 1926, in Canton, North Carolina. Margaret was a woman of faith, commitment, and family. She married the love of her life, John G. Pritchard, in 1946. Together they built a life of which most dream. They lived in many places, following John’s career as a CW3 with the U.S. Army. They eventually settled down in Miami, Florida, to raise their three girls. They had a love for traveling and camping, but Margaret’s passion was volunteering her time at the Red Cross. She spent numerous hours of her free time helping others.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Pritchard, Laura Cosler (Richard), and Anne Maravolo; her seven grandchildren, Amey Calais-Trout (Matthew), Matthew Cosler (Mary), Shannon Famosi (Francesco), Emily Fernandez (Danny), Andrew Cosler (Amanda), Katherine Spencer (Benjamin), and Susannah Jeffrey; her ten great-grandchildren, Makayla, Gabriella, Ethan, Haley, Matteo, Olivia, Wyatt, Margaret, Emmett and Stella; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her husband, John G. Pritchard, brother, Bill Lewis, and parents, Gary Lewis and Mabel Plemmons.
A Memorial for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Peace United Methodist Church, 13502 Town Loop Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32837. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.
