Obituary
Marguerite C. Lanasa (nee Gayhardt), was born on December 24, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Arthur M. Gayhardt, Sr. and Marcella Gayhardt (nee Randall). She was one of three children to her parents. She was married to her husband for 33 years before his death. Marguerite had a passion for helping and talking to people. She loved to exercise, crabs in summer and cream of crab soup in the winter. Marguerite was a member of the Social Club where she lived. Red became her favorite color. However, as a child she did not like red because her hair was red. Marguerite said she was the best cleaning lady ever, no none could clean like her.
Marguerite, age 90, passed away on June 16, 2020 in Ocala, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Lanasa; loving mother of Ronald Randall Edwards and wife Patricia and the Michael R. Edwards; cherished grandmother of Randilynn, Rachel, and great grandmother of Evan; dear sister of the late Arthur M. Gayhardt, Jr. and Marcella Hook. Caring aunt of Susan Mullinix and her husband Lou “Big Guy”, and Diana Skuhr and her husband Vernon.
