Marie was born in Ormond, Florida. She grew up, lived and worked in Ormond, now Ormond Beach. Marie was the first waitress at Billy's Tap Room. When she was in her 50's she went back to school and obtained her Bachelors degree and began teaching school. She is survived by two sons Larry and Paul.
