Obituary

Marilyn Jeanette DiNizo Marilyn Jeanette DiNizo, "Gammie", 82, of New Smyrna Beach, joined our heavenly Father Sunday June 28th 2015. Marilyn was born July 29th 1932, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to William and Laura Wahle. At the young age of 14, she met and fell in love with Anthony T. DiNizo Sr., of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, and they were married October 21st 1950. Marilyn was an integral part of the construction business, Luxury Builders, that she and Tony Sr established on Grand Bahama Island. Together they enjoyed many things; raising their family in the islands of The Bahamas, golfing as members of Sugar Mill Country Club for over 25 years, playing bridge with their friends, traveling to the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, cruising the Carribean, playing the slot machines in Biloxi, and taking her grandchildren to Disney World. The love that spanned a lifetime, was separated by body, with the passing of her husband in January of 2013. Today our family finds comfort in knowing that they are reunited once again in the arms of the Lord. Marilyn leaves behind, to cherish her memory, daughters Deborah Eberlin and Darlene Schriedel of New Smyrna Beach, son Anthony DiNizo and wife Cindy of Ormond Beach, her 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and many beautiful brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Marilyn's love and devotion to the Lord and to her family will remain forever in our hearts. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 4th 2015 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 998 Fr Dolan Dr, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32170. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life reception and luncheon immediately following at the Garden Club, 2000 Turnbull Bay Road, New Smyrna Beach FL 32168.

To All the Family: We're so very sorry for your loss, and we know what a void is left as you grieve Marilyn's passing, having known the pain of losing both our Moms this past January. There will never be another to replace her. Marilyn was a strong & giving person, always giving her EVERYTHING to her family & friends, caring & sharing her wisdom with love. You're in our heart & minds & prayers as you commit her to our Heavenly Father for his perfect love & care of her. May you all be at peace at this time, all the way down to the Great Grandchildren who will know her through your love & her legacy. Rest in Peace in God's Hands ❤️ With love & sympathy, Iris & Steve Parsons
