Obituary
On Thursday, October 7th, 2021, Martha Elaine Holcomb (Waterman), loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at age 76.
Martha, known as Marcy by friends and family, was born December 2nd, 1945 in Evansville, IN and adopted by Ralph and Laurine Waterman. Marcy graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1963. In 1967, Marcy relocated to Rockledge, Fl and ultimately moved with her family to Titusville, FL where she lived for 51 years. In 1968, She married Harry Lee Holcomb, Sr. Marcy and Harry raised four children. three sons, Chuck, Mike, and Harry (Butch) JR and one daughter Lesa.
Marcy was known for her kindness, generosity, and caring by friends and family alike. Marcy had a great love of her country, a bitting sense of humor, and great insight on matters of life and spirituality. She was active in the community through her Church, Cub Scouts, and Little League. In March, 2011 Marcy retired from the Brevard County Sherif’s Department after 25 years of service. Marcy also worked for the Brevard County School Board, The Star Advocate, and Eckler’s Custom Corvettes.
Marcy was preceded in death by her father, Ralph, and her mother Laurine. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harry, her four children, Chuck, Mike, Harry (Butch) JR, and Lesa, her sister Fran, eight grandchildren, Brittany, Mallerie, Chuckie, Ashley, Zachary, Brawnwyn, Gavin, and Aiden. Also, seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life is forthcoming and will be limited to close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to:
