Mom, I will always be grateful for your thoughtfulness and compassion, your unconditional love, for always sending me cards and gifts without fail and making all my holidays special, for our many great conversations, and all the gifts of life you gave me. I'll miss you always...Liz

Deepest sympathy to all the family. It was a delight to get to know Mary these last 7 years as Mary and my dad shared companionship. We enjoyed our long chats with Mary about politics, books, grandchildren and movies. We hiked together on Mount Jefferson here in NC and that remains a lovely memory.
With Love, Nancy and James Shannon
