Obituary
Mary Jane “MJ” Reiking Orzack, 83, of Ocala, FL passed away September 4, 2019. Born to parents Gilbert Reiking and Anna Kleiman Reiking in Johnstown, PA, she came to this area 4-1/2 years ago from Coconut Creek, Florida. She was a bank teller in New York and Florida, where she worked for 20 years until she retired in 1990, to help care for her only grandchild, Jason Reddy. After Jason entered school, “MJ” returned to the work force as a clerk for Seminole Bingo in Hollywood, Florida. She was and followed Christianity by faith, although she converted to Judaism when she married in 1956.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Alicia Reddy (and Tom) of Ocala, FL; and Michelle Masset-Stein (and Greg) of Wytheville, VA; and grandson, Jason Reddy who was recently married to Mackenzie Peil Reddy of Gainesville, FL; brother-in-law, Dave Davis of Ocala; sister-in-law, Charlotte Reiking of Coral Springs, FL and many other nieces and nephews along with their ever-growing families.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Jack Orzack, a retired US National Guardsman and siblings, Peggy Hampton, Gil Reiking, Esther Macfie, Betty Davis, and Joe Reiking.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 19th, from 7:00-9:00 pm at Classic Oaks Village Clubhouse.
