Marybell Reader, 86, New Smyrna Beach Florida died February 24, 2011 surrounded by her family. Marybell was born in Salem, Ohio on March 2, 1924 to the late Fred and Pearl Morrow. She worked for JC Penney’s Department Store in Salem for 34 years. She and her husband retired in 1986 and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1987. Her family recalled her great love for animals and for playing bingo. She loved to read, travel and found her greatest joy in her family. She and her husband were devoted to each other and enjoyed doing everything together.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Larry (Linda) Reader of New Smyrna Beach, son Mark (Sue) Reader of Boardman, Ohio, brother Don Morrow of Cape Coral, Florida, grandchildren Joey Reader, Tommy Reader, Andrew Reader, Molly Johnson, Karen Meade, Jeff Reader and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by George, her husband of 70 years; a sister Juanita Iden; and brothers Brady Morrow and Harold Morrow.
The family requests memorial donations to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar, Port Orange, Florida 32129.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
