Michael Eugene Thomas, age 67, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, in Orlando, FL.
Michael Eugene Thomas is survived by his two brothers, Doug Thomas, and John Thomas; his 11 Children, Heather Thomas-Robinson, Michael Thomas, Bradley Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Nathanael Thomas, Nicole Thomas, Nicholas Thomas, Noah Thomas, Nikita Thomas, Trace Thomas, Triniti Thomas; and his 12 grandchildren Christopher Robinson, Cody Robinson, Austin Robinson, Brennan Thomas, Bailey Thomas, Ashlyn Thomas, Callie Hoffman, Laurelei Hoffman, Kyrstn Thomas, Malena Thomas, Riley Thomas; and his 2 great-grandchildren Bentley Robinson, and Aubree Robinson; and his Estranged Wife, Nolene Michelle Elmore Thomas; he is preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Ellen Rolfe Thomas; his Father, Joseph Eugene Thomas; his Step Father Charles Thomas and his Sister, Gwen Thomas.
Michael Eugene Thomas was born on Monday, February 8, 1954, in Leesburg, Florida, to parents Joseph Eugene Thomas and Mary Ellen Rolfe Thomas. He graduated from Evans High School in 1972. In 1986, he accepted a position at Orlando Baptist Temple, where he served as Principal for 20 plus years.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Eastland Baptist Church; dress in your Miami Hurricane attire as we celebrate Mike’s Life. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in Wildwood, FL. The itinerary for the day is as follows: Open Casket Family Visitation 11:00 am- 11:30 am; Open Casket Visitation 11:30 am – 12:00 pm; Closed Casket Service 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm; Graveside Service to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike’s life. The family would like to thank Supreme Grandmaster Y.K. Kim, Martial Arts World, and everyone else who assisted the family during this time with their generous donations and gifts.
