Obituary

Michelle Lynn Smith (nee Doth) passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, at the age of 53. She was born June 4, 1970, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Raymond Doth and Dorothy Gehrlein. Stepdaughter to Deborah Doth. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Dave Smith whom she married on June 8, 1991. Family was Michelle’s primary interest and focus in her life. She was a caring mother to her three sons, Josh, Dylan (Holly), and Zachary (Kaytee) and an adoring “Maw Maw” to her eight grandchildren, Layla, Addy, Lilly, Ace, Adrian, Daisie, Ivy Rose, and Violet. Sister to Donna (Dave) Schneider, Nichole (Bob) Schoenfelder, and brother to Brandon (Christina) Gehrlein, sister-in-law to Toni Mueller, and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Michelle worked for Northside Bank for over 20 years. Michelle always enjoyed her weekend trips with her husband Dave, where they took one or more of the grandkids with them to spend special time together. She will be dearly missed by immediate family and her many friends.

Michelle had a strong belief in God and not only lived it but espoused it many times both verbally and in writing. There will be no service at this time, but a celebration of life for Michelle will be forthcoming at a later date. Donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The UC Neurological Center, or a charity of your choice in memory of Michelle.
