Obituary

Nancy Mae Odams, age 84, of The Villages, Florida passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Born September 26, 1936 in Ayer, Mass., the daughter of Kenneth and Mabel Barteaux.

Growing up in Mass. And meeting her first husband Donald Perry. They had three boys Kent, Mark and Todd Perry. Nancy had a horse farm and tack shop in Harvard, Mass. Before moving to New England. After the purchase of a farm in Littleton, NH Nancy opened another tack shop in the town of Wilton. Nancy always found time with her boys to travel all over New England for horse showings.

After her divorce she moved to Mount Vernon, NH where she built a small house and barn. Years later she met her second husband Chuck Odams. They both enjoyed the horses and showing together. Nancy moved to Londonberry, NH to Chuck’s Farm. Years later Chuck and Nancy built a large farm and moved to Epsom, NH She spent a few years traveling to Florida in the winters with Chuck. After Chuck passed away she made her last move to The Villages after enjoying some winters there. Todd and her haved lived together at The Villages and she made new friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Merlin Barteaux, and is survived by her sons Kent Perry, Mark Perry, Todd Perry; grandchildren, Amanda Berube and Ariel and Samantha Perry.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Center, 1008 Bichara Blvd., (La Plaza Grande), The Villages, FL

    Nancy, I miss you so much. Thank you for your special friendship, you were the big sister I never had, always there to help, advise and give me hell when I needed it. I was truly blessed to have had you in my life. I wanted to say this at the wonderful service Mark had for you but I knew I would never have made it through.
    I know your Dad was there to greet you. Rest in pease my forever friend.
