I do not think I will ever get over Ollie's death. We met when we sang with the Bach Meistersingers. I used to look after Freddie when she had to go out of town. I met her mother when she lived at Ginger Cove where I worked. We used to talk several times a week. I helped her when her mother died. I helped her when she moved to Florida. She gave me her mother's secretary to say thank you. I did get to see her a couple of times when I was in Florida visiting my niece. I loved Freddie. When I had cats he would leave messages for them on my answering machine. I have to tell David at The Leader, a shop in Annapolis which Barbara, Ollie visited every time she came to Annapolis. Ollie was a terrific friend.

Devastated to have only now learned this news, a month later. We met in the choir at St. Anne's, Annapolis -- Ollie was a dear friend and a great singer! She, Helen and I would meet twice a year for lunch and fun times after I moved away from Annapolis. When she moved to Florida with her family, will still managed to meet in Annapolis during her annual visits with Freddie. I will miss her so much.

It is a month later and I am just learning today of this sudden loss. My heart aches for Fred, Amy and Freddie and I am holding them close in my thoughts. Her dear friends who worked (and sang) with her in Annapolis, MD will be devastated I met Ollie back in the 1980's when I joined the choir at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, and we also sang together in an a capella choir that specialized in Baroque music. After I moved away, we still met twice a year with our dear friend Helen for lunch, shopping and fun times. Even when she moved with her family to Florida, we still had a chance to catch up on her annual visits with Freddie, and we shared laughs in our favorite Annapolis restaurants. August was our last reunion, how glad I am that the three of us could see each other after almost two years apart. I will miss her so much -- her smile in particular.

Ollie was my esteemed colleague and good friend at Key School. A true friend, we shared many challenging times together, and I remember her can-do spirit and bright eyes. I was privileged to work alongside Ollie and our friend Jane for many years teaching 5th grade, and always channeled their fortitude and caring for others in my jobs afterwards. I learned so much from Ollie, and can’t believe she is gone. My heart goes out to Freddie and Fred, as well as her extended family and friends. Amy, if you can reach out to the Annapolis friends with details as to the future services, we would be grateful.

Ms. Moochler was a wonderful teacher; the sentence-level grammar lessons I learned from her I still use when teaching college English. She was kind and generous, and I will always remember her fondly. I'm very sorry for the loss.
