Obituary
Paul Thomas Murphy, aka Uncle Paul, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, September 18th, 2020 (at age 64) in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Paul was born and raised in Hollywood Florida. Paul and his wife Vikki were retired and currently living in Daytona Beach, Florida where they had recently built their forever dream home. His parents Tom & Claire Murphy also lived with them.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Vikki Murphy of 43 years, his grandson Sean Murphy and daughter-in-law Maria, his twin brother Mark Murphy Sr. and wife Joan, his parents Tom & Claire Murphy, his sister-in-law Gale Mallia, and his brother-in-law Richie Carlton and wife Tina. He had two nephews Mark Jr. and Bryan Murphy. Our son Sean Murphy had previously passed away July 13, 2014.
Paul graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas and continued his education in property appraising. After working with the Broward County Property Appraisers for over 30 years he retired in 2013. Paul will be remembered as being a loyal husband with a fun loving personality and a heart of gold. He made friends wherever he went.
Paul was of the Catholic faith, however, due to Covid, there will not be a memorial service at this time. The immediate family will hold a Celebration of Life in his memory.
