Obituary
Peggy Ann Bates passed away on May 1st, 2021, she was born January 26th, 1945 in Wheelwright, KY to the late Mikey and Audrey Little. Peggy graduated from Wheelwright High School in 1963 and attended Berea College in Berea, KY. She later worked for the United States Postal Service, and also worked for her Uncles Vernon and Paul Bailey at Bailey Mining. Peggy spent most of her adult life living in Kentucky and Florida.
Peggy is survived by her daughters Judy (Mike) Miley of Dunnellon, FL and Stephanie (Shane) Arnold of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Catlin (Theresa) See, Jeremy Hughes, Mikey (Lauren) Miley, Savannah Idell, Kyle Miley, and Aaron Arnold, great-grandchildren; Teagann, Ava, King, Nolan, Ulton, Amsten and Magnolia, and her nephew; Jason (Penny) Cook of Lexington, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mikey and Audrey Little as well as her sister Mary Sue Little.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be made to Hospice of Marion County in honor of Peggy.
