Obituary
Peggy Jean (Williams) Leonard, 76, of Zellwood, Fl, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born on March 15, 1945 in Greenville SC to the late James F. Williams and Helen E (Pearson) Williams.
She is survived by her sister Joyce Farmer of Simpsonville SC; husband and soulmate of 63 years Robert E. Leonard of Zellwood Fl, son Michael (Rina) Leonard of Tolland CT, daughters Donna (Lou) Pancoast of Sun City Az, and Dana (John) Longmire of Altamonte Springs Fl. She also leaves five grandchildren; Alexis (Will) Kozikowski, Elizabeth (Bobby) Petkis, Amanda Leonard, Emily Longmire, Michaele Szillat, a great-grandchild (Linclon Kozikowski), six nieces/nephews, and 13 grand nieces/nephews.
Peggy attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida where she first met and started her journey in life together with Bob. Peggy was master of many households throughout Florida and Georgia, both as a fabulous mom and grandma while constantly sharing love, kindness, and a passion for life with all around her.
In keeping with her gifts, passions, and giving spirit she proudly served for many years as an Orange County Master Gardener and Butterfly expert, and as a caregiver at the Jake Allen development center deaf and blind children.
Peggy loved life outdoors and enjoyed motorcycle touring, bicycling, boating, camping and walks wherever she and Bob found themselves. She was an inspirational spirit to all who knew her and leaves a large loving family and countless cherished friendships developed along her adventures in this life.
