I only knew Phyllis for a short period of time when she was in the Gardens, nursing and rehabilitation center that I was in. I got moved to a deferent room and so did Funny thing no one wanted to tell me what really happened to Phyllis and I felt like it was something they were keeping from me but anyway Phyllis I miss you I miss your laugh. Phyllis was a great friend to my parents John and Ann Hill (Gainesville) and enjoyed many years of family gatherings and outings. Phyl was a great conversationalist and enjoyed chatting about her time growing up in England and her Golf excursions. In recent years my dad would chat with Phyl weekly and chat about current events, health, medical procedures, and the early years in England and growing up there before moving to Florida. She was a joy to be around and so outgoing. My conversations with her, will be missed and remembered.

Phyllis was a dear friend of mine. She was always interested in others. She would always ask how you are doing, about your family and
what you'd been up to. She had an amazing memory and could recall almost every converation. She was very outgoing even when the macula degeneration took away her license to drive. I learned a lot from our conversations and always felt that she was happy to see me.
If you have a friend like Phyllis, cherish him or her for you are fortunate. I think she was a pretty amazing person and will miss her always. Marian
