Obituary

Ralph H. Nicoletti Jr. passed away on February 15, 2024.  He was born in Worcester MA on October 10, 1942 to the late Margaret (Zecco) and Ralph Nicoletti Sr.
Ralph was a James Dean look alike in high school whom had a passion for classic cars.
He married Lynne Anderson in July of 1963.  He then started working for his father in law as a tool and dye maker in Massachusetts.  From there they had 3 children with many adventures and lots of Sunday dinners with extended family. One of the adventures was going cross country in a VW bus in 1977.
After that trip, the family moved to Maine where he built a log cabin and wanted to live simpler life.
Later on in life- he moved to South Carolina where he was a volunteer at his Catholic Church making friends with the community- he also assisted the nuns in helping out with landscaping and maintenance on the church grounds. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated blood donor.
His love of walking would take him all over.  Some days he would walk 15-16 miles just because he enjoyed it, also enjoyed spending time with family in Maine.
He loved his family and would help anyone out to the best of his ability.
Ralph aka Butch or Nick is survived by his former wife Lynne Anderson and their 3 children Denise (Dan) Beckwith, Doreen (Marc) Crescione and Nick Nicoletti, along with his sister Elizabeth Cardarelli and her children George, Maria and Cindy,  his grandchildren Chelsi (Scott) Casey, Lindsey Beckwith and fiancée Alex Hill, Julia Nicoletti and Jonathan Nicoletti.  Two great grandchildren Scotty and Aubree.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

Really enjoyed knowing ‘Nick’ while he was here in Georgetown. Interesting to talk with and we missed him when he moved to out into the country. We knew him from church and the Knights of Columbus. May he rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to all of his family members.

We had the pleasure of meeting Butch in his last years at holiday gatherings hosted by Dee and Dan. Two things were abundantly apparent. Butch's character and charm, and the love of this family surrounding him. Dee & Dan, Chelsi & Scott, Lindsey & Alex and even little Scotty demonstrated what it means to care and love someone even in a difficult time. I hope y'all can take comfort in knowing you were always there for him, especially in his time of need. Hugs and Blessings.

I will always remember my childhood visits to the log cabin in Monroe. Snowmobiling in winter and swims in the river in summer. Some of my best memories are with the Nicoletti Family. You will be very much missed Butch.
