Obituary
Ralph Otis Momeyer (age 88) passed away at his Florida residence May 17, 2023. He was born at home on September 29, 1934 in West Newton, Pennsylvania to the late Otis and Thelma Momeyer.
He is survived by his wife Jane Momeyer; daughter Melanee (Kim) Turner of Richmond, IN; grandsons Corey (Jana) Turner of Thompson’s Station, TN, Craig (Tiffany) Turner of Brentwood, TN; great-grandchildren, Colton Turner, Quinn Turner, and Elliott Turner; sister Mary Lou Simon of West Newton, PA; nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends; Jake and Judy Beery.
Ralph was proceeded in death by his sister Audrey Rankin; and brother in-laws Bill Rankin and Ted Simon.
Ralph retired from Walnut Township School after 28 years. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in Germany from 1954 to 1956. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #537, American Legion, and AM Vets Thornport, OH.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tidewell for their special care of Ralph. At Ralph’s request a caring cremation has taken place. A private burial will be at Forrest Rose Cemetery Lancaster, OH.
