Reed E Newton (Bunky), passed to glory on February 15, 2012. Son of Edmond and Hildegarde Newton of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, both deceased. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy Bilodeau Newton of 54 years of New Smyrna Beach; sons Steven (Donna) Newton of Lyons, Colorado, Jeff Newton of Melbourne; daughter Darlene (Pete) Maresca, Dorene (Gene) Griffith both of New Smyrna Beach, Brenda (Bruce) Iwinski of Palm Bay; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Reed served in the Army for 34 years. He worked in the Weyerhauser Paper Company in Fitchburg, Massachusetts for 12 years before moving to Florida. He was a flooring mechanic for 47 years working for K & Y Floor Covering in Melbourne, Florida. He will truly be missed by all. A Life Celebration in his honor will be held Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3:00pm at Christ Community Church, 1210 Mission Drive, New Smyrna Beach, 32168.
