Obituary

Reginald Nadeau died peacefully in his Leesburg, FL home on October 23, 2023.

Born in Livermore Falls, ME on June 15th, 1947 to Roland and Mildred Nadeau, Reggie attended Lewiston schools prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army.  He served from 1964-1967, assigned to the 2nd Army Division’s Transportation Unit, reaching E4 Specialist status. He was a Vietnam Veteran and received a Valorous Unit Award among other recognitions.

In addition to being a proud military man and member of his local AMVETS chapter, he was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid road warrior. He turned his personal passions into professions, working both as both a Motorcycle Warehouse Manager and Trucker.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Eric) Schenone; his son, Jeff (Lori) Nadeau; their mother, Diane Nadeau; grandchildren Ellery and Ryder Schenone and Althea Nadeau; sister, Jeannine Cloutier (Paul Houtari); brother Roland Nadeau (Maria) and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers Richard Nadeau and Maurice Nadeau and his sister, Joan Masselli.

A ceremony will take place at Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell on Tuesday, January 16th, 11am.  Columbarium internment immediately following.
