Richard Allen Ristau, 59, Vero Beach, Fl died Sunday, May 1, 2011. He was born in Albany, New York and came to this area in 2006 from Bellvue, Colorado. He was a graduate of the University of Maine and worked as a property manager for Elliot Merrill Property Management.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Janell Anne Blackmore Ristau, two sons Robert W and Michael R Ristau both of Queensbury, NY, his Mother Nancy Ann Noble of Vero Beach, FL, sister Linda Foley of Hingham, NY and brother David Ristau of Troy, NY. He was preceded in death by his father Richard G Ristau.
Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL 32169 is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Friends may send their condolences to the family at www.baldwincremation.com.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
Rich always went out of his way to help us if we needed it, or asked for assistance. He was truly a nice person. We enjoyed seeing the photos of him fishing, as Otis thought he was one of the best fishermen he had ever met.
His was a good life cut too short too soon.
