Obituary
Richard Allen Becker (77) ( Dickey) recently passed away peacefully after long battle with dementia at Ormond Beach Hospice on May 12, 2020 surrounded by family and friends.
Dickey was born in Minneapolis, St. Paul, MN on August 26, 1942 to Ralph and Lillian Becker.
Dickey loved painting and telling stories of his world travels such as Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas, Germany and France. He also was an Ormond Beach life guard in the early 60’s. He enjoyed fishing, boating and socializing with friends.
Dickey is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Lillian Becker and his younger brother, Robert Becker.
Dickey is survived by his brother, Jim Becker (Ormond Beach), his son, Scott Becker (Ormond Beach), his daughter Tiffany Becker (Ocala), granddaughters, Farrah Becker, Peyton King, Abby, Megan and Caroline Becker, grandsons, Tyler, Blake and Noah Becker, and his great granddaughter, Lyric Becker.
Celebration of life will be determine at a later date. As Dick was famous for saying “Cool is the Rule”.
