Obituary
Richard Donald Bond “Ricky”, 48, of New Smyrna Beach, FL died suddenly on September 23, 2018 in New Smyrna Beach. Richard D Bond, known as “Ricky” to all who knew and loved him was born in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He attended Rockledge High School in Florida and later went on to earn multiple post graduate degrees including computer engineering. His caring personality always made it easy to help others in need. His career was mainly in the warehouse industry, which also took him overseas to China. But, Ricky’s passion was music. Especially when he was playing the drums. For many years he was revered as one of the most prominent and talented drummers in Brevard county by audiences and peers alike. Some of the live rock groups he played in were: All Walks of life, Blue Edge and Bring Da Rock. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Fiancee, Sandra Meek, of New Smyrna Beach, FL. His daughter, Courtney Marie Bond, of Port Orange, FL. His Stepson, Charlie Meek, of New Smyrna Beach, FL. His parents, Richard Bond, of Cocoa, FL and his Mother and Stepfather Linda and Clifford MacDonald, of Calgary, Canada. His sister and Brother in law, Syrina and Joey Moran of Merritt Island, FL. His Grandma, Carmella Blankenship of Anaheim, CA. His Uncles; Donald, Edward and Frederick. His Aunts; Donna, Debbie, Diane Jeannine and Joanna. As well as nieces and nephews; Joey Jr, Sara, Chase and Leanna.
His memorial service and celebration of life will take place on October 14th, 2018 at Merritt Island Moose Lodge, 3150 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. Still hurts that you are gone. I think about you everyday and miss you so very much! It’s hard going through life without you. You are the best and coolest brother in the world!! Wish you were still here :( :( still cry from time to time. God, give him extra hugs for me, I know you will.

When you came into my life you made me complete. I thought we would have the rest of our lives together to do the things we had planned. I will miss the twinkle in your eyes when you looked at me and the smile you gave me. But most of all I am going to miss our arms wrapped around me. I will treasure the memories we had together for the rest of my days. Until we meet again and are together forever I will always be your Babydoll. . I will love you always.
