Obituary
Richard F. Gum, 93, of Leesburg, Florida passed away at his home on November 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Burlington, New Jersey to the late Charles and Letitia (Riley) Gum.
Richard served Our Country proudly in the US Army Air Forces during World War II, earning the rank of Sergeant.
He worked as a Master Welder for Philadelphia Gas and Electric.
He and his wife Evelyn moved from Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania to the Central Florida area in 1994 and traveled extensively after retirement.
Richard and his wife Evelyn just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last month.
His hobbies included building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. Dick was a former president of Valley Forge Signal Seekers Model Airplane Club. He was also a member of the Southern Eagle Model Airplane Flying Club.
Richard was a loving husband and an awesome Dad.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife: Evelyn; daughters: Dawn Gum and Deborah Condrey; son in law: Richard Robbins; sister: Letitia Gum; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in celebration of Richard’s life will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 130 South Lone Oak Drive, Leesburg, Florida on November 17, 2015 at 11 A.M., followed by a light luncheon.
