Obituary

Richard C Kriska, December 4,1942- May 19, 2021. Today, and all of our tomorrow’s, we celebrate the life of Richard Kriska. He may no longer journey with us but his love lingers within us. Born to Millie (Yelsik) and John Kriska in Cleveland Ohio he emulated his father in becoming a Renaissance man. Married to his sweetheart, Geri (Grzincic) for 58 adventure filled years, she carries on with his love and post-it notes of “How to…..”.  His daughter, Jennifer Brubaker (Tristan), son David, grandchildren Seth, Sage, Maya and Sadie are the recipients of his lessons and love and more lessons. If you have a treasured memory please share it. The family is so grateful to all those whose lives he touched.

If anyone would like to make contributions in his name, please send them to Tidewell Hospice, Wags 4 Kids, 112 E. Center St, Berea, Oh 44017 or K9sForWarriors.org

Thank You

I had the pleasure of working with Dick and knowing him as a friend. He was a pleasure to be around. I’m thankful we were able to visit April 26 and chat about old times. Even then Dick was upbeat and cheerful.

I had the pleasure of interfacing with Dick, first as a customer (1968), then as a supplier, and until his retirement as an Engineering Manager, an employee associate (7/15/87-12/31/02) at Kraft Fluid Systems, Inc. in Cleveland, OH . In all the years of our association(s), Dick was friendly!, respectful, detailed and a "team Player". Marie and I consider ourselves fortunate to have visited with Dick and Geri on April 26th. Dick was positive during our visit and hid any discomfort.

I met Dick at Osborn Mfg. in 1972. Geri and Dick attended my wedding in 1975. We remained good friends for another 49 years. I will always remember Dick’s smile and his love for his family. He always had a positive attitude and was a hard worker. I am happy I could say “I love you” with a hug before he passed away.

Dick was a mentor and helped me be the engineer I am today. Will be missed.
