Obituary

Richard Leon Bailey, 88, of The Villages Florida, previously of Omaha NE, passed away March 24th 2021 from complications of kidney disease. Dick retired from Campbell Soup in 1995, where he spent 38 years and made many friendships. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Joann, his oldest son Kirk and his sister, Luann Bruning. He is survived by his two sons Scott (Julie) and Troy (Rachel), grandchildren Jennifer (Brandon), Katelyn, Austin and Allison and great granddaughter Ellie.     Dick was an amazing and wonderful man. Dick and Joann were our neighbors in Linden Park in Omaha. We always enjoyed seeing them. They brought many smiles and love to everyone they saw. Blessings to all of the family.

    We express our sympathy to all of Dick's family. He was an extremely fine man and a wonderful person to work with and also report too. We also know that Joanne and his family were of utmost importance to him. Although time and life's weaving paths have separated us he always was a friend for life. May he rest in peace!
