Obituary

Richard W. Sillman, 90, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on August 29, 2017 at the Hope Health Care Hospice in Cape Coral. He lived a full life to the very end. Richard was born on May 14, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Mark and Caroline (Nath) Sillman. He worked as a boat and car mechanic and was a member and an Usher at Saint Catherine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. He loved boating and snow skiing and worked for the Ski Patrol for 35 years. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Nancy L. Sillman; his daughter, Elizabeth Davis; his son; Richard Sillman and his wife Gigi; his son, Robert Sillman; his daughter, Mary Luncinski; his daughter, Carol Rank and her husband Alan; his stepson, Ronald Funk; his stepdaughter, Sue Funk; his stepdaughter, Rebecca Funk; his 17 grandchildren and his 13 + 1 on the way great grandchildren. Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Richard to Hope Health Care in Cape Coral or St. Jude’s Hospital. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, Florida.

    Rest in peace dad,i'm so glad that my sisters , brother and I were able to come to see you and Nancy on your birthday.Thank you for being a good father and always provided everything that we kids needed growing up and that we all turned out to be good people.The apples don't fall far from the tree(s). I know we will see each other again some day,I Love you Dad
