Obituary

Bobby Willingham, age 82 of Mims, FL, passed away peacefully on March 08, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Thelma Willingham, twin brother William “Billy” Willingham, and infant brother Roy Willingham Jr.

Bobby leaves behind his loving children Robert Willingham Jr (Connie) of Mechanicsville, MD, Theresa “Terry” Langley (Keith) of Newburg, MD, Steve Willingham (Teresa) of La Plata, MD, and Stacie Robertson of Bel Alton, MD. As well as his 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

He’s additionally survived by his siblings Gene Willingham (Gloria) of Issue, MD, Donna Snyder (John) of Greer, SC, Sherry Moore of King George, VA, and Betty Gardiner (Earl) of Newburg, MD.

Bobby was a resident of La Plata, MD in his earlier years where he worked alongside family at W&W Fabrication in La Plata, MD. As well as further exploring and operating various business opportunities in Maryland, Florida, and Costa Rica.

Bobby enjoyed his family, fishing, boating, drag racing, hunting and other outside activities.

One passion was flying the Great American Flag with The Great American Flag Association throughout different areas of the country. This flag was 100 ft x 200 ft and weighed over 2 tons.

He was previously Commodore of Aqualand Yacht Club, and a member of the VFW, American Legion, The Eagles, as well as the Moose Lodge.

Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life on March 14, 2024, at Newburg Volunteer Fire Department at 4:00pm.
