Obituary
Robert “Earl” Daley was born on May 8, 1934, in Carrollton, Ohio.
Earl started Daley Excavating & Services in Salem, Ohio. He ran the business from 1953 to 1992.
Earl retired from his business in the early 90s, and moved to the Florida Keys where he met his wife Karen. They enjoyed fishing and golfing in the winter months and spent the rest of the year running a seasonal restaurant in NY. Eventually, Earl and Karen retired to New Smyrna Beach, FL where they became members of the Sugar Mill County Club. They enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
Earl passed away in his sleep the morning of February 23, 2022 at the Advent Health Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL.
He was proceeded in death by his sister Christina, brother David Daley, and son Robert Daley. He will be missed by his wife Karen, his children Dan Daley (wife, Kathy), Kelly Daley (wife, Virginia), Janet Stenman (husband Michael), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on March 19th in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
