Obituary
Robert George Rial, 70, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed peacefully at his home in The Villages, Florida on January 17, 2023.
Bob was born in New Jersey on January 26, 1952, and lived in Cranford, New Jersey prior to his move to Florida.
Bob is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Timothy Kevin Rial and partner Dawn, and his daughter Meghan Ann (Rial) Emigh and her husband Nathan. He will be greatly missed by his three grandchildren Jessie Ann Rial, Natalie Ann Emigh, and Robert Thomas Emigh.
Bob received his degree in Mechanical Technology from Union County Technical Institute. He worked at various manufacturing and medial device companies throughout his career including Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Terumo and Integra LifeSciences. Bob made many lifelong friends during his career journey.
Cooking and music were two of Bob’s passions. He joined the New Jersey chapter of Les Marmitons; an international men’s cooking club in 1996. He was later involved in the startup of the Cranford chapter of which he was a past president. Bob and his wife traveled to attend club chapter gala’s throughout the US and Canada; enjoying seeing old friends and making new ones.
Bob enjoyed playing guitar with his friends and neighbors; having acquired quite the guitar collection over the years. Music and attending concerts were a big part of his life.
He will be missed by his family and many friends. Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449. Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com.

It's easy to take old friends for granted ,thinking the good times will never end. With Bob's passing I am reminded of just how lucky I am to have had Bob as a friend for all of these years. Your memory will live on,hopefully we will meet again on the other side.
Dave and I are so sorry for your loss. Bob was one in a million. He will be missed. Dave will hold fond memories of their childhood time together. I’m sure there was plenty of mischief as well! I’ve only known you and Bob a short while, but have considered you both as true friends. I’m going to miss Bob and still can’t believe he’s gone. Such a shock when you called the other day. I always loved his quick sense of humor and gads..he could tell a story. He’s free of our worldly problems and his pain and I’m sure he’s sipping a fine glass of wine reminiscing on just how many people loved him.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
