ROBERT HILL FOWLER, 70, Ocala, FL.
On June 3, 2015, Robert Hill Fowler went to be with our Heavenly Father. Robert died peacefully with his wife at his side. His will to live and the love and prayers of family, friends and supporters carried him through weeks of illness. Robert was born in Washington, DC on February 20, 1945 to Delmar Pershing Fowler and Susan Catherine Hill. He joined the United States Navy in 1962 and served in Naval Ordnance stateside during Cuban Crisis and Vietnam. Robert worked for the City of Ocala before retiring, then started his own carpentry/cabinetry business and eventually became certified as a Security Officer. Robert was a quiet and respectful man with a passion for photography, woodworking and working with the Indigo 4-H Club as a mentor. Robert is survived by his wife, B.J., his sons, Nathan, Nathaniel and Ryan and 4 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 934 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers please make donations to one or more of the following that he was very passionate about: Marion County 4-H/Indigo; Vets Helping Vets; Hospice of Marion County. His gentle spirit will be missed.
