Obituary

Robert James Sawyer, 55, of Dunnellon passed away May 1, 2018 in Ocala. He was born to Burchell and Mabel Sawyer in Miami, FL on July 8, 1962. He lived most of his lifetime in Marion County and served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army. Robert is survived by his mother, Mabel Sawyer; son, Robert Michael Sawyer; 4- sisters, Connie Moffitt, Ina Archer, Roberta Mobley and Diane Holmes; brother, Ricky E. Sawyer; several nieces and nephews.
The family has planned a Memorial Service, Saturday May 26, 2018 11:00 AM at Ocala West United Methodist Church 9330 SW 105th Street Ocala, FL 34481

During this time, I came to appreciate not only the care and attention you gave to it but your kindness, good humor, and decency as a man.     We have never met a kinder or more hard working man than Robert. It was such a shock to hear of his passing. You will surely be missed Bob. Our heartfelt sorrow and prayers are with the Sawyer family.
