Obituary

Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA where he lived many years before moving to Baltimore, MD and most recently in Rotunda West, FL.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joan, and George Earl Jefferys Jr. His brother David Gary Jefferys and sister Barbara Joan Jefferys.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Vanessa Krause Jefferys. His daughters Kathryn Jefferys, Randi Jefferys, and spouse Dawn. His stepsons Kenneth Miller & spouse Tiffany, Brian Miller & spouse Betty, Mikey Miller & spouse Alyssa, Tim Miller & fiancé Rachel. 9 Grandchildren: Logan, Jayce, Kinsey, Cole, Alana, Bobby, JJ, Myla and Titus. His sister: Allison “Soni” Barger & spouse David and his 2 nieces Veronica and Lindsey. His former wife and lifelong friend Mimi Morrow.
Bob viewed life through the eyes of an artist. Seeking beauty where he could find it and creating it whenever possible.
In his views on life- love- and politics, he was very vocal and firm. He was a great conversationalist.
He accepted his final battle with grace, dignity, and courage. His biggest regret was leaving his beloved wife, Vanessa and in his own words “Not living long enough to see Trump win.”
Baldwin Brothers of Port Charlotte is honored to serve the Jefferys family.

I will never forget the first time I met Bob Jeffrey's at the old Orchard Landing in Baltimore Md. -I was singing with my partner Bill Schafer (Silver and Gold Entertainment) and Bob was dancing and adoring and lovingly staring at his wife Vanessa (whom he so clearly worshiped! lol) That would be the start of a sweet friendship and some very deep conversations over the years. His love for flowers, art and beauty, Vanessa and a certain "butterfly" will always be in my memories. Bob used to always request that I sing "Where The Boys Are" by Connie Francis, saying that it had a lot of special meaning to him and every time I sang it, his heart beamed with love and his eyes filled with tears and he would smile so big. He always referred to his wife Vanessa as his "goddess" and, very proudly, adored her like a precious butterfly on his arm. God keep you Bob. You have surely earned your place in heaven. Here's to you Bob. Good food, beautiful flowers, nail polish, butterfly tattoos, the beauty of the human body in all its natural glory and the song you loved to hear me sing. You will be missed old friend. Here's to the man who truly taught me "how to treat a woman" for he truly worshiped his goddess Vanessa. Love you old friend. Love you❤️

I am very saddened by the passing of Bob. He was always kind to me, I truly admired the deep, unconditional love he had for my sister. I am sending my deepest condolences to all. Bob was a good guy with strong convictions and a brilliant mind. I will always remember and appreciate the many conversations around the table when he helped to expand my vocabulary. My heart aches for my sister Vanessa, keeping her in my prayers, thoughts, and heart as she mourns the loss of not only her husband but also her very best friend. May you rest in eternal peace, Bob. Thank you for loving my sister and giving her wings to fly.

A good man, a wordster and an artist, Bob will truly be missed. I sat next to him in English class, Grade 11 in Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. I wrote him a letter as a joke; he responded with a 9 page missive I still have. I was intrigued and out of that first letter came a marriage, a cross country move and back, 2 beautiful daughters, a life long relationship, and a man whose words I still cherish. Our time together was strained at one point, broke off and then changed for the better. He left us far too soon. I will miss him, his wit, his humor, his creativity. I will miss Bob Jefferys.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family. Bob was a treasured friend to us for many years and he will be missed.
