Obituary

Klemczak, Robert L. 76, of The Villages passed on 10/16. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Helen and Leon Klemczak. Bob joined the Marine Corps where he was working in communications. He moved back to Beacon, NY where he met and married his wife, Sandra, and they had a beautiful 54-year marriage. Bob started the Jaycees and organized the first Beacon Day along with being a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for IBM and transferred to Boca Raton where he retired in his 40s and was fortunate to travel the world with Sandi. In 2005 they moved to the Villages where he enjoyed 3 bridge groups and the NY Giants Club. Bob devoted his life to his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sandra; children Patti Scandariato, Dawn Morris, Robert Klemczak; his sister and her husband Joan and Rich Fiege; grandchildren Haley and Nick Klemczak, Alex and Ryan Wadleigh and Lia Scandariato; great-grandson, Foster Alexander along with his nieces and nephews. A service will be held at St Timothy Catholic Church on 11/2 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Helping Hands, 1104 Main Street, The Villages, FL 32159.

    so sorry to hear about my cousin bobby. when we were little at grandma's we hung together. I am losing all my cousins. at 81 I am still here. my heart goes out to you all.

    So glad that I was blessed with a wonderful brother in law! From being in your wedding when I was 4 years old, living in your basement when I was 17 years old (disco days), vacationing (always welcoming) at your homes in Beacon (NY), Boca Raton, and The Villages (FL). Taking care of Bella when she was a kid in Hugo, MN. Not to mention, enjoying your wonderful family meals--spaghetti/meatballs. In general, enjoying your knowledge and talks on the "back porches where ever you lived". One of the good ones for sure! Will miss you, Bob.
