Obituary
Robert Milward Schuele, 85, of Fort Myers, passed away November 30, 2020, at Larsen Shell Point Pavilion in Fort Myers, FL. Born November 16, 1935 in Cleveland, OH., he was the son of George Newton Schuele and Margaret Weaver. As a young man, Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He later acquired a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University; and went on to own and operate his own mechanical engineering company within the automobile industry. He was active in the Catawba Island Club, Rockwell Springs Trout Club, Cedar Island Yacht Club, and Detroit Curling Club. Robert was an avid boater in the Great Lakes Region and Florida Gulf Coast. As well as, an avid car collector. He and his family moved to southwest Florida from Bloomfield Hills, MI., in 2000. Surviving are his loving wife, Nancy Allen Schuele of Fort Myers, FL., daughters, Joanne Elizabeth (Joseph) King of Oakland, MI., and Susan (William) Schuele Ridenour of Old Greenwich, CT., daughter in law, Lori Schuele of Birmingham, MI., granddaughters, Sarah Morrocco Hardin of Shelby Twp., MI., Christine Luce and Alison Elizabeth Ridenour of NYC, NY., Hailee Schuele of Birmingham, MI., Hannah Schuele of New Orleans, LA., and Emma Schuele of Cincinnati, OH. As well as, grandson, William Gehring Ridenour of Columbus, OH., and 1 great grandchild. Son, Robert Allen Schuele, preceded him in death in 2006. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.
