Obituary

Robert “Bob” H. Uhler, age 91, a resident of Moatsville, and previously Three Churches, WV, passed away Friday November 5, 2021 at the home of his son in Cocoa, FL.  Bob was born July 30, 1930 in Riverton, NJ the son of the late Homer I. and Virginia E. (Miller) Uhler. Bob was united in marriage to Lana C. (Lynch) Uhler who preceded him in death on November 24, 2017.

He is survived by sons, Jeffrey R. Uhler (Diane) of Cedar Hill, TN, Brian R. Uhler (Tracy) of Cocoa, FL, Step-daughter, Barbara J. Harvey (Regina) of Philippi, WV, sister, Virginia L. Wills (Donald) of Ocala, FL, Bob was preceded in death by step-son Alan W. Harvey.

Bob retired as a salesman for W.A. Cleary Company. He served in the US Navy, and also the Marine Corp Reserve.

    Although we are sad right now, the memories of you will spark joy in our hearts forever. You will be remembered for your sweet, kind nature, your wit, your intellect, and your charm. Thank you for the gift of your son. After 26 years of marriage I can still say he is the nicest person I ever met. You did good Bob and I hold nothing love and amiration for you in my heart. RIP my sweet father-in-law.

    Bob,
    You will be missed so much. You have been such an inspiration in my life as well as Madison's. I will treasure the memories and paintings you gave me oh so long ago when my children were babies. I have never met such a optimistic person as you before even in sorrow you always made light of everything and saw the best in everyone and everything. Your infectious smile and corky jokes made me laugh so hard. Now you are with your sweetheart and things will be sad on this side but I'm happy for you to no longer suffer and be with your loved ones. I love you to the moon and back. XOXOXO
