Obituary
Robert Wahlstrom, Bob, passed into his next life to join family and friends on April 4th, 2024. Bob was born February 1951 in Michigan to our parents Warner F. and Beryl Ethel Wahlstrom. Bob was 73.
Bob was raised in Berkley, MI and lived there for 33years. He lived in Spring, TX for years and for that last 8 years in The Villages, FL. He graduated from Berkley High School and attended Ferris State College. He married his High School classmate Helen Rogers and had a son Robby Wahlstrom who pre decreased him. Bob was a wonderful father and coached his son to become a bull rider in Texas rodeos. He was a successful carpenter and worked for several large contractors in Michigan and Texas. Bob had a long list of friends wherever he lived and always was a helping hand for those in need. In his “I grew up in Berkley” FB obituary post he had over 250 comments from friends and acquaintances.
Bob is survived by his brothers Richard, James, and Bill; daughter-in-law Jennifer Wahlstrom; granddaughters Taylor and Katie Wahlstrom; grandsons Will and Cole Wahlstrom; sister-in-laws Christine and Marilyn Wahlstrom; many nieces and nephews. Also, his significant other and constant companion when he lived in The Villages, Mary Jane Bishop.
