Obituary

Robert was born in Bronx, NY and came to this area in 1968 from Woodstock, NY. He served our nation in the US Army in Vietnam. He was a retired insurance agent. Robert was a member of Rotary and Moose Lodge. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane, daughters Vanessa (Martin) Cosgrove of New Hampshire, Jennifer (Dr Dean) Selig of Mississippi, grandchildren Marty and Ollie Cosgrove, Mia, Isla and Saige Selig. He was preceded in death by two brothers Ferdinand and Ralph Wichmann.

    I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a true gentleman and someone whom I enjoyed working with through the years at Cotton States. I can't remember a single day in which I saw him that he didn't make me laugh! We will miss him.

    Diane, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Bob was a great guy. I really loved seeing you two at our many many company functions with Cotton States and later with Safe Harbor. I am truly sadden to hear of Bob's passing.
