Obituary
Rogelio Depio Lambo, Sr., 79, long-time resident of Orlando, Florida and beloved husband of Nema Bunda for 45 years, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021, surrounded by the ones he lived for and loved.
Rogelio was born in Cebu City, Philippines to Abundio and Adela Depio Lambo and spent his early life in his beloved home country, ultimately earning a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cebu Institute of Technology. He relocated to Central Florida in 1985 where he served as a well-respected Civil Engineer for Orange County Public Works and is also a long standing member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Winter Park, Florida.
In addition to his loving wife, Rogelio is survived in legacy by his daughter, Adelyn Whaley, his two sons, Rogelio B. Lambo, Jr., and Carlo Lambo, and his five grandchildren, Marius, Maliya, Sophia, Mailyn and Anabella, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends in whose heart his memory will forever burn brightly.
The Lambo family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Advent Health Hospice facility, for their dedicated care, as well as to all those who offered their prayers and support in the past few months, as it was your collective compassion that made it a little easier to mark this passing not simply with grief, but with gratitude for the gift of Rogelio’s life and the blessing that was the time God allowed us to spend with him.
A memorial mass will be held to honor Rogelio on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1030am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
