Obituary

Roger Dale Bays, 61, of Ocklawaha, FL and formerly of Pierceton, IN died at 1:57 a.m. at home on Sunday, September 6, 2020. He was born on September 1, 1959 in Warsaw, IN to Lester and Geraldine (Zorn) Bays. He served in the National Guard and was a longtime employee of Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital. He loved spending time with family, fishing, and enjoyed cooking. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his fiancé, Eddie Yongue, 3 sisters Brenda (Don) Beck of Pierceton, IN, Glenda (Ben) Michael of Pierceton, IN, Lorrie (Steve) Patrick of Ocala, FL, 3 brothers Rod (Kit) Bays of Pierceton, IN, Ricky (Martha) Bays of Pierceton, IN, and Rocky Bays of Warsaw, IN. He is proceeded in death by his parents and husband, James Routson. He is loved by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sandy. No services will be held. Cremation will take place at Baldwin Brothers of Ocala, FL.
