ROGER D. ROSE “BUTTERFLY”
He was a great man who made many feel loved. He cared for everyone he knew. He had many people who looked up to him, and he made every kid he knew feel like one of his own grand kids. He was the joker and story-teller of the family.
The best story he has ever told was when he started third grade. He walked in and walked out the other door and left it open for his girlfriend.
He lived a very happy life to be 73 years old. He had many people who loved him, especially his granddaughter Emily. Emily’s first word was butterfly, and when she said it, she pointed to him. That’s how he got his nickname. He is her butterfly. When he passed, she tried to hold back the tears, but she couldn’t. She asked her sister if she could help her find a butterfly so she could take it to show-and-tell to tell all her friends about her butterfly. Fly high butterfly, fly high!! We Love You!!
