Obituary

Ronald William Henry:09/25/1944-03/02/2024 A native of Maggie Valley, NC. Ron lived in various states, including NC, NJ. and Fl. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved his motorcycle. He had many adventures on “the Bike”. His trip riding to Sturgis was a shining moment. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Bernadette Henry. Daughter Marian-Jane Conklin, grandson William David Shuman Jr. “BJ” and granddaughter Lyndsi Denise Taylor.

Ron is survived by companion, Jade Rhoades, Ocala, daughter Lorrie Honaker (John), sister, Darlene “Lee” Henry (Sandy) of California, brother Robert (Bob) Henry, (Cami) of Washington state., 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, one great niece and 1 great nephew.

Ron will be sadly missed by family and friends. A special Thank you to the Fredrick family.

    Little brother! You were always a "handful"! I hope they're ready for you "up there"! I'm going to miss our phone talks where we discussed everything under the sun and then some. We were both curious people and that was a bond that ran deep. The other bond was love. I love you, little bro" and will miss you so much.

    Love my uncle Ron. From the years I got to visit him as a kid to my older years where I got to be the only “dude” ride on the back of his Harley. Rest easy Ron and I’m glad you’re no longer in pain.
