Obituary
Ronald Jay Sylvester, 64, affectionately known as “Ronnie” died Thursday, November 1, 2012 with his family by his side. Ronnie was born June 1, 1948 in Bellevue, Ohio. He grew up in Houston, TX and married the love of his life, Janice on April 29, 1989. They lived in Louisiana and Texas before settling in Sanford in 1991. Ronnie worked for Air Liquide as a truck driver for many years. He was a devoted husband and father and found his family the most important part of his life. Ronnie will be remembered for a giving, hardworking, protective man who give his shirt off his back to help friend. He enjoyed riding his Harley on any given blue sky day. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Janice; daughter, Angie Jordan; four sons, Ronnie Sylvester, Jr, Jimmy (Amy) Sylvester, Dwayne (Christina) Landry and Scott (Phoebe) Landry; nine grandchildren and sister, Melody (Jimmie) Bryson. A life celebration will be held Monday, November 5th from6:30-8:30PM at Lake Forest Clubhouse, 5350 Shoreline Circle, Sanford.
