Obituary

Rose M. Yocum, age 83, passed away peacefully at home, June 10, 2022 surrounded by family in Port Orange, FL.

Rose is survived by her daughter Debra Bearb and son John Yocum, Jr., her son-in-law Scott Bearb and daughter-in-law Sabrina Yocum, her grandchildren Kylene Rodriguez, Kaitlyn Hill, Brianne Yocum, Julia Yocum, and Kyle Rodriguez, her great-grandchildren, Keegan Rodriguez and Kaleb Rodriguez, her brothers William Ortlieb and Joseph Ortlieb, sisters, Carol Hargy and Patricia Mullaney.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Yocum, sister Mary Crawford and brother Raymond Ortlieb.

Rose was born on August 13, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to Rose Gaynor and William Ortlieb. She was married to John Yocum on September 20, 1958. She lived in Bucks County, PA until she moved to Florida in 1992. In 2000 she graduated from Daytona State College with her GED. She was a loving and caring mother.

Rose enjoyed painting and woodcarving. She also loved to play BINGO with her friend Richard Ferguson and spending time with her friend Stacey Harden.

Rose did not want a funeral; she asks that you have a toast of Kahlua and cream in her honor. She will be deeply missed.
