Ruby Yvonne Griffin, 80, of New Smyrna Beach, FL went to her Heavenly home on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Florida Memorial Hospital in Ormond Beach, FL.  She was born October 24, 1935 in Onton, Kentucky the daughter of Clarence Ingle and Eva Bell (Burnett) Ashby.  She worked as a machinist for many years for General Electric in aircraft engine manufacturing in Madisonville, Kentucky and came to Florida from Kentucky in 1999.  A visitation will be held from 2 PM until 3 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Society Heritage Place at One North Causeway in New Smyrna Beach, FL with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 3 PM.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-mother Bessie Bell Ashby and by two brothers, Clarence Verial Ashby and Jerry Wayne Ashby and by one sister, Patricia Louise (Ashby) Hayes.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jeff Griffin of New Smyrna Beach, FL and by three sons: Stacey Shawn Griffin, Johnny Neal Griffin and his wife, Tina and Paul Nathan Griffin and his wife, Millie all of New Smyrna Beach, FL:  Also by four grandchildren, Christopher Lee Griffin, Josef Douglas Griffin, Christa Marie Williams and Stephanie Elaine Williams and by 1 great-grandchild Skye Marie Snow.
