Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Beaucage; her parents; and 12 siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Ruth (Pete) Austen and Betty Jean Beaucage (Carroll) Crawford; five grandchildren, Kimberly Rene (Bruce) Caulkins, Bobby Clint (Sara) Crawford, Paige (Jerry) Everett, Britt Austen and Lori (Steve) Losner; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Crawford, Austen Everett, Landon Everett, Alex Losner, Lizzie Losner and Max Losner; other family and friends.
The past 3 years her companion was her selected granddaughter, Sheri Walters and her buddy, “Benny” a small Yorkie. Ruth was the youngest of 13 children and the last to pass away. She was a homemaker and mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all she met. Ruth lived a very active life and while her husband was alive and after their children were grown, traveled all over the United States in their motor home.
Prior to her fall her neighbors celebrated her 100th birthday with a block party where she received proclamations honoring her birthday and life achievements. These came from the Spruce Creek HOA & POA, Volusia County, and from Governor Scott for the State of Florida. The next day her family and friends, numbering about 50 people, had a brunch at the Smyrna Yacht Club, with some people coming as far away as Rehoboth, MA.
A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at a later date.
