Obituary
Ruth Deutsch, age 83 died peacefully of natural causes on February 5th, 2021 in Daytona Beach, FL.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Lori and husband Warren of Daytona Beach, FL. Her granddaughter Liane and Husband Michael of Port Orange, FL. Grandchildren Nicholas, Jennifer, Nicole, Amanda, Angelica and Warren. And six great grandchildren. Ruth was born on July 8th 1937 in Latvia to parents Peter and Elza. Ruth moved to Florida in 1974 where she owned and operated a local laundromat for many years. Then took her laundry skills to Brooks Custom Cleaning where she retired from in the early 2000’s. Ruth loved her family and was always surrounded by them. She was an amazing caregiver and passed on her mothering skills to many family members. Ruth was loved by many that called her mom and grandma, just like she was a part of their family. She will be missed by many.
Ruth is preceded by her husband Burton, and four daughters Anita, Daina, Sandra, and Gail. And a grandson D.C.
The family is planning a celebration of life for Ruth in the near future. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to Halifax Hospice at www.halifaxhealth.org/giving.
